Our Engineer will bring along with him a new unopened pack of security system, accessories and cables that are needed to complete the planned installation. It is most likely that our installers will have extra accessories with them so you can always change the specification when they are onsite. Moreover, we will make sure that the configuration you choose would safe guard your home and business.
For online orders, our Engineer would carry out a site survey and risk assessment and might suggest changes to your security system design if required.

We would recommend a fuse spur next to the planned control panel location, preferably where you have your broadband connection hub. Not to worry if you do not have the fuse spur, we will able to add one at the time of installation (charges may apply). The control panel is connected to the mains and is generally installed in the understairs cupboard, server rack or somewhere unnoticeable. This is then connected to your home broadband so you would be able to control it from your smart phone App. Some of them can be connected wirelessly while others need to connected via cables. There is not restriction on number of Smart phone App that can be connected to a single alarm panel and so all of your family members can monitor and control your home alarm at no extra cost.

Alarm Engineers at Smartech Security will then program the sensors, keypad, keyfobs, siren and all connected devices along with the IP, GSM and telephone connection as per your security system configuration. This might take anywhere between 2 to 5 hours depending on the size of your home alarm design.
CCTV packages and video door entry systems bought online includes the necessary cameras, cables, hard disk and accessories required to install the system and get your property secured. We aim not be spot any cables on the exterior of your property, but might not be possible in all cases.

It is estimated that a 4 camera CCTV for a semi-detatched house would take 5 hours for 2 installers including cabling and demo.

We are NSI Gold installers who offer grade 2 and grade 3 security alarm installation and NSI certified alarm, CCTV and Access control installation for warehouses, shops and offices. The standard procedure for a commercial installation is initial site surevey and risk analysis followed by a detailed quote and specification. The installation would be carried out in phases were the first fix involves cabling and the second fix is mainly installation and commissioning. The burglar alarm and CCTV will be installed to high standards and can be connected to monitoring station and URN issued for a police response. It is mandatory to maintain Police monitored alarms and so there will be a monthly cost and contract in place.
